Hurricane Joaquin Postpones The Race of Gentlemen

The Race of Gentlemen 2015, originally scheduled to take place this Saturday, October 3 & Sunday, October 4, have been pushed back one week due to projected northern path of Hurricane Joaquin.

Vintage auto and motorcycle beach races will now be held Saturday, October 10 & Sunday, October 11.

The Night of the Troglodytes Chopper Show set for Friday, October 2 has also been rescheduled to Friday, October 9 to correspond with the event. It will be held next to the Surf Comber Motel at Atlantic & Rio Grande Avenues.

TROG posted the following to their official Instagram account:

All tickets will be honored next weekend and if you can't make it, all tickets will be honored next year. For those already in town this weekend, we are working on throwing a party for you. Details to come. #trog hotels are working with us and will do everything they can to accommodate. It's supposed to be a beautiful weekend after the storm has passed. Mother Nature has been rough on us racers this year, but we won't let it stop us!
