The sights, sounds and energy of New Year's Day in Philadelphia comes to North Wildwood this weekend... minus the cold!
New Year's in North Wildwood will feature top Mummers Brigades and Mummers String Bands strutting and partying through the pub district along Olde New Jersey Avenue.
The event begins Friday evening at 6 pm with the Fancy Brigade Pub Crawl through the local drinking establishments of the North Wildwood Entertainment District.
On Saturday, a colorful Mummers parade will be held, starting with the Fancy Brigades at 3 pm. The String Band Grand Finale kicks off at 4:30 pm.
Admission is FREE, giving spectators the chance to get up-close views of the colorful costumes and intricate dance steps.
Rain date for the parade is Sunday, June 10.
