The Wildwoods Convention Center has scored a big honor and earned national recognition in the process!
The island's event centerpiece recently received Sports Destination Management Magazine's "Reader's Choice Award" for Best Indoor Venue.
Built in 2001, the Wildwoods Convention Center boasts 260,000 square feet of exhibition space and includes the Oceanfront Arena, which can seat up to 7,000 spectators. The venue hosts over 150 events annually, during all seasons.
According to it's website, Sports Destination Management Magazine "is written for the largest audience of sports event managers and tournament directors in the sports tourism market and maintains a focus on the important issues surrounding event location decisions and event management."
