Baseball on the Beach
Baseball returns to the beaches of the Wildwoods this weekend, for ages 9-12. Competition will be held on four different fields between Andrews and Rio Grande Avenues. Today features a home run derby. Games will take place on Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. A second tournament will take place August 18-20. FREE Movies on the Beach
Tonight's feature is The Sandlot, on the beach at Leaming Avenue. Movie starts at dusk. Bring a beach chair or blanket and enjoy the show on a giant 30-foot inflatable screen. Friday Night Fireworks on the Beach
The weekly fireworks extravaganza launches from the beach at Pine Avenue at 10 p.m. The show is visible from almost anywhere on the Boardwalk, and many places around the island. Rain date is Sunday night at 10 p.m. For more information, call 609-523-1602 or visit www.DOOWW.com.
Dancers perform nightly (weeknights) on the Schellenger Beach Stage, Schellenger Avenue & Boardwalk at 7 p.m. FREE event. For more information, call 413-454-4523.
Wildwood Tattoo Beach Bash
Rebel Image Tattoo presents a full blown tattoo expo and show in the Wildwoods Convention Center. It's a weekend full of incredible artistry and fun events - major national tattoo artists, live tattooing, art exhibits, contests, side shows, and so much more, starting today from noon - 11 p.m. Tickets are available at the door and are $20 per day or $40 for all 3 days (children under 12 are free.) Yoga on the Beach
