UPDATE: The Mister Softee store at 3806 Boardwalk has reopened today. At this point, it is unclear if it will remain in operation. We hope to have another update to the situation soon.

As of this evening, both "Mister Softee" locations on the promenade are closed.
This follows the filing of a federal lawsuit by Camden County-based Mister Softee Inc. over royalty fees, first reported by NJ.com about two weeks ago.

Stores were located at 3118 Boardwalk and 3806 Boardwalk, and have been in operation since 2011 and 2012, respectively.
