The largest kite festival in North America returns this Memorial Day Weekend!
The 32nd Annual Wildwoods International Kite Festival is a four-day celebration of fun and colorful innovation. Kites of all sizes and shapes will take to the sky and be displayed throughout the weekend, while experts show off their flying skills.
The festivities begin on Friday, May 26 at 12 noon with the "Unlocking of the Ocean" ceremony on the beach next to the Wildwoods Convention Center. This will be followed by the opening of the kite sales tent and the 9 p.m. illuminated kite fly.
Saturday, May 27 and Sunday, May 28 will feature the East Coast Stunt Kite Championships on the beach, beginning at 9 a.m. both days, as well as kite workshops and family games.
On Memorial Day, Monday, May 29, the World Indoor Kite Competition will take place inside the Wildwoods Convention Center from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
