Captain Kidd Pirate Day is this Saturday in North Wildwood


One of the island's most fun-filled, family events of the Spring takes place this Saturday, when North Wildwood Recreation & Tourism presents
Captain Kidd Pirate Day!

The event is centered around children 12 years & under, who have the opportunity to take part in the annual Pirate Costume Parade on the Boardwalk and Treasure Hunt on the beach.

Registration for the parade begins at 10 a.m. at 26th & Boardwalk (or can be done in advance by calling 609-522-2955). Costume judging follows at 10:45 a.m.

The parade then kicks off 11 a.m. sharrrrrp (see what we did threre?).

Afterward, a treasure hunt on the beach (again for children 12 & and under) at 19th Street.

Costumes are not required for the treasure hunt, which will feature a bounty of great prizes, including cash, bikes, weekend getaways, gift certificates and more.
