More than 2,600 runners will gather at the famed Wildwoods Boardwalk to compete in a half marathon, 8K and 5K race, as Morey's Piers hosts the Wild Half Race Series this weekend.
The "main event" will be the annual Wild Half on Sunday (May 15).
Along the scenic, 13.1 mile course, racers will engage in the full Wildwoods experience, from coastline views to the action-packed excitement of the world famous promenade.
The half marathon begins at 7:30 a.m., followed by the 8K and 5K races at 7:45 a.m.
A cotton station located along the course will provide an added sugar rush, while the finish line after party will feature live music by Stellar Mojo a beer garden, food trucks and kids crafts.
In addition to competing, registered participants will receive a free unlimited ride wristband to use at Morey's Piers throughout the weekend.
The festivities begin on Saturday (May 14) with the Wild Child kids beach run (12 & under) and after party, and Vinyasa Yoga on the beach in front of Raging Waters Water Park.
