I snapped this shot of 2nd Street Beach in North Wildwood (on the south side of the jetty) back in November of 2004. This is one of my favorite spots in the world. The same area is generally packed with beachgoers during the vacation season, from early morning until well into the evening. During the winter, the setting is very quiet, calm and serene.
Definitely an area of the island that is a must visit, any time of year. Grab a beach chair, your favorite book (maybe a heavy coat and a warm blanket), sit back, and take it all in...
