THE WILDWOODS - The Wildwoods host the annual Jersey Shore ALS United Ride, with bicycle riders joining together to put the brakes on ALS and advance the search for treatments and a cure, on Saturday, June 15.
The ALS United Ride (formerly Ride to Defeat ALS) is a one-day cycling event designed for people of all ages and riding abilities. The ride is an opportunity to rally together, honor and remember loved ones, and support the shared vision – to create a world without ALS.
There are four distance options: the Metric Century (100 KM), Metric Half-Century Ride (50KM), Metric Quarter Century Ride (25KM), or the Family-Friendly 6-mile loop. Every participant can count on support from start to finish with rest stops, SAG (Support and Gear) vehicles, and police along the route.
Upon completing the ride, participants are welcomed to the finish line at Morey’s Piers by cheering crowds. Finish line festivities include entertainment, a delicious luncheon, and two complimentary passes to Morey’s Piers Amusements and Water Parks.
