THE WILDWOODS - Morey's Piers is proud to once again offer you a chance to play Field Hockey in a new and exciting way - on the world-famous Wildwoods beaches during the 'Sticks in the Sand' Field Hockey Tournament - Saturday, July 24 and Sunday, July 25.
Teams from all over the East Coast and beyond will compete on the Wildwoods beaches, as well as enjoy the water parks and beach during the day and the famous Wildwoods Boardwalk and amusements in the evening. All participants receive 4-day Ride & Slide passes, good for all three Morey's Amusement Piers and both beachfront water parks for Friday-Monday of the event. Friends and family members of participants will also receive steeply discounted passes.
Games are five versus five, with four players on the field plus a goalie, with a maximum of 10 players per team. Each game consists of two 12-minute halves with a running clock. Fields are 30 yards by 50 yards, and the games are played with a larger rubber ball. Each team will play a minimum of five games in their division.
Divisions include middle school, high school, JV, high school varsity, women's 18+, and co-ed open.
