Harlem Globetrotters to return to Wildwoods Convention Center for four games - August 11-14

Just about every major event and a number of annual traditions in the Wildwoods were scuttled last summer, due to the pandemic. Thankfully, 2021 has seen a progressive return to normalcy.

This week, we learned that the Harlem Globetrotters will be coming back to the Wildwoods Convention Center for a four-game set - Wednesday, August 11 through Saturday, August 14 - as part of their Spread Game Tour.

All four games begin at 7 pm. Tickets are on sale now via Ticketmaster or at the Wildwoods Convention Center box office (4501 Boardwalk).

Magic Pass Pre-Show tickets are also available in addition to new "premium" offerings, including Celebrity Court Pass, Player Meet & Greet and #SQUADZONE floor seating. For full details, visit:

Over the past decade or so, the Globetrotters' annual visit has become a popular tradition in the Wildwoods, with the team making surprise appearances around the island, performing trick shots at unique locations and riding the Sightseer Tram Cars to promote the games.

Stay tuned for announcements and updates on where the players may appear.

Recently, the Globetrotters made headlines with a highly-publicized effort to join the NBA, via an open letter to Commissioner Adam Silver. The team, founded in 1926, has competed in over 27,000 games (with a .987 win percentage) in 124 countries.
