Fishing and boating enthusiasts are invited to the Fishing & Boating Expo in the Oceanfront Arena at the Wildwoods Convention Center, Saturday, April 6 and Sunday, April 7. From the back bays to the canyons, up to 90 vendors will cover all of your fishing and boating needs. Hours are 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Saturday, and 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Sunday.
The expo has expanded this year to over 48,000 square feet of indoor exhibitor space with displays showcasing a wide range of exciting new products, services and programs that fishermen and boaters will find useful, along with the latest “gotta have toys” available to view, demo and purchase. Products include but are not limited to rods, reels, lures, sporting equipment, sporting gear, boats, commercial gear, accessories, clothing, and state-of-the-art marine electronics.
Get up close and personal with experts, and get to know the retailers on a one-on-one basis. Attendees will have a chance to meet Back Bay legend Fred Uhlman, host of South Jersey’s longest running fishing show, “Jersey Cape Fishing.” Uhlman will feature a float rig demo at his booth. Door prizes will also be drawn throughout the day.
Admission to the Fishing & Boating Expo is $5 per person. The Wildwoods Convention Center is a fully handicapped accessible building.
