The 11th Annual Fallen Heroes Polar Bear Plunge will take place this Saturday, February 23, at 15th Street Beach in North Wildwood.
Registration begins at 8:45 am; the plunge is set for 11 am.
Participation fee is $35 in advance, $40 on the day of the event ($15 for children under age 15).
Prizes will be awarded for best costumes, for teams and individuals.
The Plunge Post Party begins at noon at Keenan's Irish Pub (113 Olde New Jersey Avenue). Admission is free with plunge participation. If not taking part in the event on the beach, entrance is $25.
Proceeds from the Fallen Hereos Polar Plunge benefit the Philadelphia Police Fallen Herœs Fund, MRSA Awareness, and local scholarships.
