Inaugural Bacon Lovers Festival coming to Downtown Wildwood - May 25-27

Mmmmmmm... BACON!

Memorial Day Weekend in the Wildwoods is about to get even better (we didn't think it possible) with the addition of the Inaugural Downtown Wildwood Bacon Lovers Festival!

The three-day event will take place May 25-27 at Byrne Plaza (3400 Pacific Avenue), the second of nine new weekend festivals coming to the venue this year.

Bacon-related vendors and food trucks will line the grounds, along with a garden/tent area that will host wine and craft beer tastings and sales. There will also be live entertainment and family activities.

The highlight of the weekend may be Sunday afternoon, when a bacon eating contest will be held.

Admission is FREE. Festival hours will:

Saturday, May 25:  2 - 10 pm
Sunday, May 26:  Noon - 10 pm
Monday, May 27 (Memorial Day):  Noon - 6 pm

On Saturday, before the Bacon Lovers Festival begins, Byrne Plaza will host the Season #6 Kick-off of the Downtown Wildwood Farmer's Market, from 8 am - 12:30 pm.

Other upcoming Downtown events include Wine & Chocolate Lovers Weekend (April 13 & 14) and Wildwood Country Band Concert Weekend (June 1 & 2).

This year's festival series is being presented as a partnership between the Wildwood Business Improvement District (WBID) and What's On Your Food Truck? (WOYFT).
