The Burke & Payne Barber Co., a vintage-chic Philadelphia establishment specializing in haircuts for men and boys, is coming to North Wildwood.
It will take over the former Martino's Barber Shop at 2305 New Jersey Avenue. Preparations are ongoing, though an opening date has yet to be determined.
Owners Mike and Tanya Burke opened their main shop at 734 S. 9th Street (corner of 9th & Fitzwater) in South Philly in 2013. They also own and operate Barber on 24th at 2401 Lombard Street.
Burke & Payne prides itself on its team of experienced barbers, offering traditional barber services, in addition to straight-razor shaves and beard trimming, styling and maintenance, in a classic setting garnished with antique decor.
