Boardwalk escape rooms a hit in debut season

Earlier this summer, Cloak & Dagger Escape Rooms brought the interactive puzzle phenomenon to the Wildwoods for the very first time.

And, by all indications, the attraction has been a big hit!

Throughout the season, we have noticed a steady flow of visitors to the home of XD Dark Ride at 4008 Boardwalk, where the escape rooms share space with the immersive cinematic shooter (now in its third season).

"We've been very pleased with both how the escape rooms turned out, as well as the reactions from our guests," said Brian Martin of MSquared Productions, which operates both attractions. "It's exciting to bring this unique entertainment option to the Boardwalk."

Cloak & Dagger Escape Rooms features three fully-themed, playable options for individuals and groups: The Hillbilly Still, The Knights Quest and The Swindler's Escape.

Players must take advantage of clues that follow along with the storyline of each room to escape before time expires. Additional information is available and reservations can be made at www.cloakanddaggerwildwood.com.

XD Dark Ride and Cloak & Dagger Escape Rooms will be open every day through Labor Day, then weekends through the end of September.

"Any time something new and different is added [on the Boardwalk], you can never be certain how it will be received," continued Martin. "I'm happy to say that this has been a real success and we've seen lots of smiling faces all summer long.

"In fact, we can't wait to show everyone what we will be doing next year..."
