PRESS RELEASE

The Philadelphia Flyers are stepping off of the ice and hitting the road this summer!

The club announced today the schedule of stops and locations for its summer-long Community Caravan Tour, a family-friendly pop-up fan event featuring games and prizes, clinics, autograph signings, and more.

With eleven stops across the Greater Philadelphia Region, including a three-day Jersey Shore tour, this year's schedule is designed to bring summer fun and Flyers action to home towns and vacation spots alike.

Each family-friendly Community Caravan stop is free to enter and includes a full-size inflatable rink for kids of all ages featuring alumni-run shooting and basic skills clinics, an inflatable shot-on-goal game, a bungee run, special giveaway items and enter-to-win contests, alumni autograph sessions, tailgate games, and photo opportunities with Flyers Ice Girls and Fun Patrol.

In addition, the Caravan will introduce three new hockey games to every stop this year - Skee Puck, Gockey, and Box Hockey - all intended to help develop basic hockey skills for first-time players of all ages.

"We recognize that our fans are looking for Flyers Hockey all year long," says Shawn Tilger, Flyers executive vice president and chief operating officer. "This tour is a tremendous way to visit fans during the summer months, as well as to bring the fun of hockey to community members and kids who might not be familiar with the sport. It's so important to us to grow the game."
