A rumor making the rounds on social media over the past 48 hours has suggested that the Ship 'n Shore Bar (434 Montgomery Avenue) has been sold, closed and will move to a new location next year.
We reached out to the establishment and were told that this rumor/story is FALSE. This morning, the bar posted a note on its official Facebook page, stating the same.
The Ship 'n Shore is a popular, year round local watering hole that overlooks Ottens Harbor.
While we can't speak to its future, we can confirm that the bar is open for business as usual.
Facebook lists hours of operation as 10 am to 3 am, daily.
