Traffic Advisory issued for Tri the Wildwoods Triathlon on Saturday, August 26th

The North Wildwood Police Department has issued the following Traffic Advisory for the Tri the Wildwoods Triathlon, which which will take place on Saturday, August 26...

Detours will be set up in the north end of the City of North Wildwood starting at 5:00 AM.

The triathlon starts at 6:30 AM with detours expected to be in place until approximately 10:30 AM.

North Wildwood Police Officers will be assigned to traffic posts throughout the route to assist motorists.

Expect road closures northbound and westbound on the following streets: JFK Beach Drive, 2nd Ave., Surf Av., 1st Av., Central Ave. and Anglesea Drive. Spruce Ave. (Rt. 147) will have lanes open for vehicular traffic off and on of the island across the Beach Creek Bridge.

No parking will be in effect on Saturday morning in the following areas: Anglesea Drive from Allen Drive to Spruce Ave. (Rt. 147), Anglesea Drive from New York Ave. to Windsor Ave. and Spruce Ave. from Olde New Jersey Ave. to New York Ave.
