Doo Wop Back to the '50s Neon Night Tours
See the best of the Wildwoods' Doo Wop Style landmarks, while a guide in Fifties attire recounts popular culture of the '50s and '60s. The tour boards outside the Doo Wop Experience, 4500 Ocean Avenue, at 8 p.m. Admission is $13 for adults, $7 for children 12 and under. Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular
The annual holiday fireworks extravaganza will launch from the beach at Pine Avenue tonight at 10 p.m. The display will be visible from just about anywhere on the Wildwoods Boardwalk, and many vantage points around the island. Independence Day Family Parade
The annual Fourth of July parade in North Wildwood will begin at 9 a.m. at 9th & Atlantic Avenue and proceed north to 1st & Surf Avenues. Prizes will be awarded for the best decorated bikes in "red, white and blue" theme. The parade is FREE to attend and take part in. Registration check in is at 8:15 a.m. at 9th & Atlantic. Patriotic Pooch Parade
The Patriotic Pooch Parade will join in the march of the Independence Day Parade through the island at Bill Henfey Park, 8th and Atlantic Avenues in North Wildwood. Check-in for parade participants will be from 8:15 a.m., parade at 9 a.m. Dogs of all shapes and sizes will parade along the streets of the Wildwoods dressed in patriotic garb alongside decorated bicycles. Prizes will be awarded for the best dressed pooches. To register, call 609.522.2955.
Wildwood Talent Showcase
