At least one large-scale beach concert will take place in Wildwood this year, after all.
"Rockin' in the 80s" will take place on Saturday, August 19 at Garfield Avenue, and will feature legendary funk band War, along with classic rock group Asia and former Journey lead vocalist Steve Augeri.
Gates will open at 11 a.m., with local bands performing starting at 1 p.m.
The main show will begin at 5 p.m.
The event will be hosted and presented by Atlantic City-based Songbird Entertainment.
