PRESS RELEASE
The Wildwood Crest Photo Spots Contest has returned.
Like to take “selfie” pictures and post them to social media? You can win a cool Wildwood Crest T-shirt after doing so.
For the second straight summer, the Borough of Wildwood Crest is holding its Photo Spots Contest, in which visitors and residents can post “selfie” pictures near a variety of Wildwood Crest locations and win a T-shirt featuring the new Wildwood Crest logo.
Participants in the contest are required to take “selfie” pictures with at least five of 10 different designated Wildwood Crest landmarks in the background and post them to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. Participants are required to tag Wildwood Crest on Facebook, @VisitWildwoodCrest on Twitter or @Visit_Wildwood_Crest on Instagram while using #VisitWildwoodCrest when posting.
The first 200 people to post photos from at least five of the 10 designated photo spots will receive a Wildwood Crest T-shirt. Photos can be posted separately or together as a collage.
Winners will be contacted by the Wildwood Crest Recreation Department. Winners must pick up T-shirts in person at the Wildwood Crest Pier Recreation Center.
The 10 Wildwood Crest landmarks include the ocean end of the Wildwood Crest Beach Pier at Heather Road, Sunset Lake between Rambler Road and New Jersey Avenue, the Centennial Park entertainment pavilion at Fern Road and Ocean Avenue, Coleman-Callahan Veterans Park at Rosemary Road and Park Boulevard, the Gazebo-by-the-Sea at Sunrise Park at Rambler Road, baseball statues at Morey Field at Aster Road and Ocean Avenue, the Wildwood Crest Bike Path Arch at Cresse Avenue, any lifeguard boat or lifeguard stand on the Wildwood Crest beach, the Wildwood Crest Bike Path at Rambler Road and the new Wildwood Crest branch of the Cape May County Library at Wisteria Road and Atlantic Avenue.
