Former Triangle/Nino's building demolished

After sitting vacant and deteriorating for nearly 5 years, the former Triangle/Nino's restaurant building at Walnut & Spruce Avenues in North Wildwood was demolished today.

The structure was heavily damaged during Superstorm Sandy back in October 2012.

Nino's Family Restaurant, the building's last occupant, relocated to the site of the old Groff's Restaurant at Magnolia Avenue (just off the Boardwalk) in August 2015.

The location is perhaps best remembered as the home of the Triangle Restaurant, which took its name from the wedge-shaped corner along the North Wildwood entrance boulevard that it sat on for many years.

At this point, there is no news on what may replace it.
