As reported last week, IT'SUGAR Candy Store is coming to Wildwood this summer.
We now have a location and an opening date.
According to IT'SUGAR representatives, the store will be located on the 3000 block of the Boardwalk, occupying Spaces 308/310. It is set to open Memorial Day Weekend.
The "upscale" candy shop will join Angelo's Pizza Spot, Chipstix, Kohr Bros, and Ice Hot Teppanyaki (which debuted last year), among others on the row that spans from Glenwood to Pine avenues.
The 3000 block, and the large structure that encompasses it, has seen its share of struggle over the years. But it seems to be turning a corner, at least in terms of adding quality stores and upgrading its profile.
The arrival of IT'SUGAR certainly continues that trend.
“The Jersey Shore holds a special place in our hearts at IT’SUGAR,” said Jeff Rubin, founder and CEO of IT’SUGAR. “Our first-ever location was in Atlantic City and with the opening of this store in Wildwood, we now have a presence at three (3) boardwalks along the coast.
