Turn Around Boutique Cuts Ribbon

Officials and owners cut ribbon to open Turn Around Boutique.

PRESS RELEASE

Owners of Pacific Avenue’s Turn Around Boutique are bringing upcycling to Wildwood.

The city’s newest chic boutique, located at 4805 Pacific Ave., offers shoppers the chance to purchase consigned men’s, women’s and children’s clothing as well as furniture, artwork, home décor items and collectibles.

During the June 27 ribbon cutting ceremony, City of Wildwood Commissioner Pete Byron presented owners Lynn DeMarco and Mary Lou DeMarco-Goldy with a proclamation from the three city commissioners declaring June 27 as “Turn Around Boutique Day” throughout the city of Wildwood.

In addition to bringing their new business venture to the city, DeMarco and DeMarco-Goldy are branching out into Cape May County through their commitment to Cape May County Technical School students.

Students from the school will be volunteering in the shop.

Turn Around will give students a chance to share their talents by adding artistic embellishments to clothing, jewelry and furnishings donated by the boutique.

Profits from those upcycled pieces will be divided between student scholarships and mothers in need throughout the community.

“The city applauds Lynn DeMarco and Mary Lou DeMarco-Goldy,” Byron said. “These two women are committed to bringing a new energy to downtown Wildwood.  They are part of the foundation in bringing Pacific Avenue back to the community."
