Here we are already, entering the second official weekend of summer and the last weekend of June.
That means we're just one week away from Fourth of July Weekend, which, as always, will be packed with events and happenings. But you won't have to wait until next week to enjoy the firewords... literally!
Tonight marks the season debut of Fireworks on the Beach. The show kicks off on the beach at Pine Avenue at 10 p.m.
* UPDATE, 6:05 p.m.: Unfortunately, due to unfavorable conditions, tonight's fireworks show has been cancelled.
With thousands of soccer players invading the island, Cape Express Beach Blast Soccer is always a lot of a fun and a spectacle to behold, even for those not participating.
Up in Anglesea, the North Wildwood Original Italian-American Festival is an annual favorite, for very good reason. The neighborhood is buzzing with excitement in anticipation of the festivities, which will include: vendors, a meatball rally, Little Miss Italy Pageant, and live entertainment all weekend.
Down on the southern end of the island, two first-time events - the Crest Sand Sculpting Festival on Saturday and the Wildwood Crest Farmers' Market (which will be held Sunday through the summer) - add more variety to the Wildwoods' calendar of activities.
