"State-of-the-art" miniature golf center coming to Rio Grande Ave. in July

The Rio Grande Avenue entrance boulevard is about to receive a huge shot in the arm with the addition of a major new attraction.

Wildwood 365 has learned that construction has begun on Wildwood Mini-Golf, a state-of-the-art, 18-hole miniature golf course and entertainment center. The complex, designed by Wildwood-based Harris Miniature Golf Courses, will be located near the foot of the George Redding Bridge, in the lot next to the Tom Cat Restaurant (adjacent to Wawa).

In addition to its intended role as a prime addition to the island's entertainment landscape, Wildwood Mini-Golf will serve as Harris Miniature Golf's showcase model, for clients visiting from around the world.

According to our sources, the massive course will feature a waterfall gardens theme, complete with luscious landscaping and huge rock waterfalls, with streams and rivers throughout the course.

Wildwood Mini-Golf's targeted opening date is the first week of July, with a big Grand Opening ceremony to follow.

For developing information and updates on the center's construction, check out Wildwood Mini-Golf's official Facebook page HERE.

We will have more info on this new project in the coming days as well...

  1. Great news! Looking forward to a visit there as soon as it opens! Also happy to see something going where that ugly vacant lot is!

  2. That's great!, but why did they tear down the one on that was a few blocks over just to build a Walgreens when we already had a CVS on the other side? Hope this one can withstand the floods on the corners at high tides.

    1. I hope they build the parking lot high enough. The mini golf that was where Walgreens is now got old, been there done that kinda thing. Their food and ice cream was never good, and the game room wasn't updated enough.

  4. The lot seems small for a golf course and parking. The closed service station across the street could serve as overflow parking.
