Lime Ricky World "Appreciation Day" to benefit storm victims today, Noon - 7 p.m.

The Wildwoods community continues to come through to help those in need in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.

Lime Ricky World (3409 Boardwalk) is one of many businesses stepping up to the plate.

The arcade/casino's annual Appreciation Day will go on today as planned, but with changes to benefit storm victims.

The event will take place today, from noon - 7 p.m.

Here's a message from owner Chris Pohle:

Dear Guests,

Lime Ricky World was very fortunate in receiving minimal damage to the storm. We have decided to continue with our Appreciation Day but have made some changes to help our friends on the Jersey Shore:

1. We will have a computer terminal set up for customers to donate directly to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.  You will need a Debit/Credit Card to do this. I will personally match the first $200 in donations received.

2. Winners of the Boardwalk Challenge (Click link for details) will have donations made directly to the Red Cross in their name.

3. Our Deal or No Deal cases will each contain donation amounts that we will again donate directly to the Red Cross.

Hope to see you there!
