THE WILDWOODS - Enjoy more than a week of hardcourt excitement and friendly team competition at one of the largest holiday coed high school basketball tournaments in the country.
The annual Boardwalk Basketball Classic returns to the Wildwoods Convention Center - Sunday and Monday, December 22-23, and Thursday, December 26 through Tuesday, December 31, for eight days of non-stop action!
The tournament will feature an impressive lineup of high school boys and girls basketball teams from South Jersey, the Delaware Valley and beyond, totaling approximately 1,000 competitors.
The tournament kicks off with a special Battle of the Boards high school basketball showcase event on Sunday and Monday, December 22-23.
The event will feature boys and girls games involving area schools such as Cape May Tech, Lower Cape May, Middle Township, Ocean City, as well as tournament co-hosts Wildwood and Wildwood Crest, and many more from South Jersey and the surrounding areas.

Beginning on Thursday, December 26, the six-day Boardwalk Basketball Classic Tournament continues to be one of the largest single-venue coed high school holiday basketball tournaments in the United States. Since its inception in 1998, the tournament has raised more than $400,000 in college scholarship money for graduating seniors at Wildwood High School and Wildwood Catholic Academy, the two high schools who host the event.
The tournament also donates scholarship money for graduating high school seniors at other participating high schools from Cape May County. The tournament is strictly a not-for-profit event and is run by an all-volunteer board that solicits scholarships, ticket sales and other support.
