Restaurant Row to host inaugural S.I.N. Olympics on July 17th

PRESS RELEASE

Restaurant Row in Downtown Wildwood will be hosting the Inaugural S.I.N. Olympics on Tuesday, July 17th, starting at 10:30 p.m. on Pacific Avenue between Lincoln and Spicer Avenues.
This unique event will spotlight the heart and soul of the Wildwoods: The hospitality industry, with a special focus on community.

A maximum of 15 teams comprised of hand picked wait staff from local restaurants and bars will compete in a series of events to showcase their skills (and, in the spirit of good clean fun, their heckling abilities).

The top four teams will qualify to go for the Gold in the final obstacle course; Silver and Bronze medals will also be awarded to the second and third place finishers.

Best of all, the winning team will receive the S.I.N. Olympics Trophy, to display in their establishment, and bragging rights for the next year.

A percentage of entrance fee proceeds will benefit Special Olympics. The event will be sponsored by the FOP, which will help judge the competition.

"Perfect opportunity to bring the island together for a good time and a great cause," said Cattle 'n Clover owner John Sheppard.

Come on out and show your support for your favorites!

Participating teams are encouraged to bring their family, friends, and full cheering sections - and all are invited to a special Happy Hour celebration at Cattle 'n Clover after the competition.

The S.I.N. Olympics is a first-time ever event in the Wildwoods, and is open to all who enter.
Leave your barstool behind and a community-oriented day on Pacific Avenue, surrounded by fun, food, friends, and a time you won't want to miss!

Attached you will find an image of the official poster and for additional information feel free to call or email me or download the registration form and rules at www.pacificaveblockparty.org under the events tab.

Hope to see you there!
