Four Course Finale (for now)

Tonight is the final night of Restaurant Week, the last chance to take advantage of $30 specials for four-course meals at over 20 participating eateries. This is a good opportunity to try out someplace new, or a specialty dish at a familiar location.

Fear not if you've missed out this week, however - a second Restaurant Week will be held from August 26-30.

Tempo di festa in Anglesea

An annual favorite, the North Wildwood Original Italian-American Festival takes place along Olde New Jersey Avenue, this afternoon through Sunday. The event, sponsored by the Knights of Columbus, presents a taste of Italian-American culture, with vendors, food, and live entertainment.

Performers this year include: the Mario Band, Fulvio and Friends, Moreno Fruzzetti, The Cameo's, "Sinatra" with Eric DeLaurio, and our buddy, Philly Cuzz.

DJ Rick Rock from WIBBAGE 94.3 will also be on hand, and WPHT The Big Talker morning host Dom Giordano will serve as the festival's Grand Marshal.

Other activities include a meatball rally and Little Miss Italy Pageant. All festival events are FREE to attend. For more info, call 609-780-2563 or visit http://www.KofC2572.org.
