Celebrate Easter Weekend in the Wildwoods


The Wildwoods Boardwalk Explodes with Fun and Excitement Saturday, April 7 and Sunday, April 8 for an Easter Weekend full of FREE festivities for the whole family!

The Wildwoods, NJ – March 28, 2012 – As the winter months come to an end, and the temperatures begin to rise, the Wildwoods celebrate the start of spring with Easter Weekend offering a selection of free festive events starting on Saturday, April 7.

On Saturday, April 7 families with little ones can take part in two different Easter egg hunts taking place throughout the island. On the beach in North Wildwood at 19th and 20th Avenues, children 11 and under can pick-up eggs and collect prizes at the Elks Annual Easter Egg Hunt. Down the beach at Lincoln Avenue, children ages 1-12 can dig through the sand to find eggs containing a toy. Keep an eye out for the golden egg at the Greater Wildwoods Jaycees Easter Egg Hunt. Both events begin at noon.

On Easter Sunday, April 8, Morey’s Piers hosts its Opening Day & Easter Celebration from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. – bringing out the kid in all of us including rides, food, entertainment and “Pick an Egg” for the kids.

Also on the boardwalk at 23rd Avenue, Ed’s Funcade Easter Egg Hunt will be taking place from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. with chances to win great prizes.

All of the Wildwoods Boardwalk eateries, shops, games and arcades will be open for a full weekend of fun. Head to the Wildwoods April 7 and 8 for a weekend of FREE Easter festivities sure to please the entire family!
