Billy Joel tribute band to perform in the Crest on August 7th

WILDWOOD CREST — The Wildwood Crest Centennial Summer Music Series continues Sat., Aug. 7 as Billy Joel tribute band Storm Front takes the stage at Centennial Park at 7:30 p.m.

Fronted by singer-pianist Mike O’Brien and backed by a talented full band, including a horn section, Storm Front has recreated the sounds of Billy Joel for thousands of fans up and down the East Coast.

Storm Front strives to play hit and after hit from Billy Joel’s vast musical catalogue with pinpoint accuracy, including such classics as “Movin’ Out,” “My Life,” “It’s Still Rock ‘N Roll To Me,” “Piano Man” and “Scenes From An Italian Restaurant.”

Centennial Park is located at Fern Road and Ocean Avenue (6601 Ocean), just steps away from the beautiful beaches of Wildwood Crest. Free parking is available two blocks away at Myrtle Road and Ocean Avenue.

In the event of inclement weather, the show will be held inside the Crest Pier Recreation Center at 5800 Ocean Avenue.

Live free concerts are held in Wildwood Crest each Monday (at Crest Pier), Wednesday (at Centennial Park) and Saturday (at Centennial Park) through late August.
