Today is Class Trip Day at Morey's Piers, as school groups from all over the state will visit Mariner's Landing and Raging Waters for an afternoon of fun.

Tomorrow begins the four-day annual New Jersey State Elks Convention weekend, as well as a new two-day event sponsored by Morey's Piers -- the Education ExtravaGreenza.

On Friday, the three-day Spring Thunder in the Sand pro/am motocross race events will begin on the beach between Schellenger and Spencer Aves.

Morey's Piers will host its Beach Bop on Saturday for young scout members.
