Another new Boardwalk eatery - Capt'n Jack's Island Grill - opened late last week at the base of Hunt's Pier, a refurbishment of the old Dip n' Dots/Stewart's Root Beer stand at the same location.
The restaurant features a diverse menu of food and refreshments, with patio seating on two levels. From an aesthetic standpoint, it's nice to see a new tiki-themed entity on the boards; the double-sided neon sign is an added bonus!.
Combined with Sand Jamm next door and the Adventure Maze on the other side (set to open this coming weekend), Capt'n Jack's will add a renewed vitality to one of the busiest areas of the Boardwalk this summer.
