It's that time of year again...Voting has opened for the 3rd annual New Jersey's Top 10 Beaches survey. Last year, Ocean City took top honors, toppling the Wildwoods (which won the inaugural poll in 2008).
Forty-eight coastal communities in five counties are eligible, from Sandy Hook down to Cape May. Voters are encouraged to rate their favorite beach's merits in four main categories:
* Family Destination
* Day Trips
* Ecotourism
* Shore Events

The results of the survey will be revealed during the NJMSC/NJSG's annual State of the Shore Media Event, which will take place on Thursday, May 27.
