Wildwood light heavyweight boxer Chuck "The Professor Mussachio improved his pro record to 14-1-2 with an eight round unanimous decision victory over Bobby Rooney (11-3-1) at the Taj Mahal in Atlantic City last night.The fight was elevated to the card's main event when Camden light heavey Prince Badi Ajamu came in ten pounds too heavy for his light heavyweight bout Daniel Judah.
Mussachio got back on the winning track after suffering his first career loss to Tommy Karpency in August. Rooney, of Bayonne, NJ, came into the fight having won six straight matches.

David Weinberg, the Press of AC's Boxing and MMA blogger, reports that Mussachio fought with a fever and a broken nose from a sparring session two weeks ago.
