I just wanted to take a moment to wish iconic - and often controversial - Canadian hockey commentator Don "Grapes" Cherry a very happy 75th birthday!You may wonder: “What does this have to do with Wildwood?" And, the answer would be… well, nothing, really. But, you know, I just had to find some excuse to post a few pics showing off Cherry's colorful (I know, that’s a drastic understatement) fashion sense.
Cherry would fit right in down in Wildwood, strolling down the Boardwalk in one of those fancy suits on a warm summer's evening, wouldn’t he?Then again, he might be mistaken for a runaway neon sign, hauled off by the local authorities and propped up out in front of the Doo Wop Experience...
(And, yes, in case there is any doubt, Don Cherry is crazy.)
