WILDWOOD, NJ - The Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce (GWCOC) proudly announces its ranking as the 10th chamber of commerce on the NJBIZ list of New Jersey's Top Chambers of Commerce, based on the number of New Jersey Business Members.
This recognition reflects the Chamber's commitment to serving the business community of The Wildwoods and its dedication to promoting various events throughout the shoulder seasons.
In addition to supporting the local businesses, the GWCOC is the driving force behind several renowned shoulder season events in the Wildwoods, including The Wildwoods 50s, '60s, & '70s Weekend, The Wildwoods Food and Music Festival, The Wildwoods Spring Fling Festival, and The Wildwoods Restaurant Showcase.
The Wildwoods Holiday Shopping Village, initiated during the COVID-19 pandemic to support small businesses facing challenges with indoor shopping, has become a significant event held on the first Saturday after Thanksgiving, also known as Small Business Saturday.
Tracey DuFault, Executive Director of GWCOC, expressed pride in the Chamber's achievement, stating, "The Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce is honored to be recognized as one of New Jersey's top chambers. Serving as a business advocate for all members and the five-mile island known as The Wildwoods, GWCOC is dedicated to promoting the island as a premier destination for visitors and residents alike.
