A Continued Wave of Development… and Investment!

The Residences at Pacific represents BG Capital’s latest in a series of major investment projects in the Wildwoods over the past half-decade.

Next Saturday’s groundbreaking puts an exclamation point on a banner 2023, a year that saw the debuts of two game-changing developments in Downtown Wildwood - Seaport Suites and Oasis by Seaport.

Open year-round, Seaport Suites is a new 63-room hotel offering spacious, luxurious suites with modern décor. Located at 3601 Pacific Avenue, the complex houses an exclusive pool with cabanas, along with three bar/restaurant venues, including the year-round Fairview Social.

Oasis by Seaport consists of 38 residential units on a 1.75 acre tract, with the main office near New Jersey & Magnolia Avenues. Its central shared space, Oasis, features a pool, kid water activity center, hot tubs, fire pits, and recreation options galore.

In 2022, BG Capital opened the Seaport Inn, a dramatic transformation of the former Isle of Capri Motel in North Wildwood. The 21-unit motel was completely renovated and refurbished to modern tastes.

The Seaport brand was initiated in 2018 with the creation of Seaport Pier, the multi-purpose venue that also marked BG Capital’s arrival in the Wildwoods.

Over the past 5 years, Seaport Pier, located at 22nd & Boardwalk in North Wildwood, has been established as one of the island’s premier entertainment and leisure hubs. Its many offerings and accommodations include Wildwood’s one and only beachfront family-friendly bar & grill, a spacious live music venue and the only private swim club on the Boardwalk.

“We will continue to raise the bar and deliver a high-quality product that we stand behind. Our investment in The Residences at Pacific is no different,” said Joseph Byrne, co-founder of BG Capital. “There has been a demand for the revitalization of Pacific Avenue for decades and we’re proud of the footprint we have created.

“The impact has encouraged emerging development on the island from like-minded builders ultimately, appreciating the surrounding area’s property values, stimulating year-round residency and profitability for local businesses.”
