Chef Robert Burns joined the team as executive chef and he has created a refreshed menu for the restaurant. Notable dishes include colossal shrimp coated in bourbon sauce, large fried flounder topped with bruschetta, fresh cut NY strip steaks, and a variety of daily specials each better than the day before.
The restaurant didn’t forget to add specials, and there are plenty. Happy hour is offered Monday-Friday from 3-7 PM. Martini Mondays offers a menu of $7 martinis, Tijuana Tuesdays has $7.50 house margaritas and Mexican dinner specials, and Wine Down Wednesdays offers $15 bottles of wine with dinner.
Chef Burns is hopeful the features of the restaurant-open air venue with indoor and outdoor seating, family friendly atmosphere, and a team of welcoming staff- will add on to make a great season for the restaurant.
With 27 years experience, Burns’ resume includes The Old Homestead and Speccio at the Borgata, Oyster Creek Inn in Leeds Point, and A Ca Mia in Cape May and more. Chef Robert is a gold medal winner for the State vocational competition, V.I.C.A, under the tutelage of Chef Bob Johnston, and he later went on to represent New Jersey on a national level in Kansas City.
Food isn’t the only thing customers can expect to enjoy.
“No matter where you are in our building you are guaranteed to have fun,” said owner Joseph Mahoney. “I want everyone to come in and try our new menu, even if they’ve been here before, and see what a great improvement we made here. Plus we have live entertainment every Thursday with Split Decision, and DJ Gabor every Friday, DJ Robi1 every Saturday and a whole schedule of live bands."
