Morey's Piers makes Coastal Living Magazine's list of "Top 10 Piers"

Coastal Living Magazine has bestowed a very cool honor on the Wildwoods, naming Morey's Piers to its list of "Top 10 Piers" around the country.

What makes this recognition unique is that the list is not entirely comprised of amusement piers, including other destinations known for fishing, recreation, and sightseeing.

This excerpt from the write-up is sure to make any Wildwood fanatic beam with pride:

"Nearby Atlantic City invented the ocean amusement pier in 1882. The Morey family has perfected it."

Niiiiiiice.

And congrats to all of our friends over at Morey's Piers on this latest honor.

Also on the list...

Chelsea Piers - New York City
Ocean City Pier - Ocean City, Maryland
Cocoa Beach Pier - Cocoa Beach, Florida
The Pier - St. Petersburg, Florida
Crystal Pier - San Diego, California
Santa Monica Pier - Santa Monica, California
Santa Cruz Wharf - Santa Cruz, California
Pier 7 - San Francisco, California
Bell Street Pier - Seattle, Washington

  1. I live between the Cocoa Pier and the St Pete Pier...neither one compare to my childhood vacation spot...so much so that I drive from Florida to bring my children to Wildwood. It's our favorite vacation spot, even with Disney right around our corner.
