Wildwood Crest Recreation to host wellness lecture on colorectal cancer prevention

UPDATE, Event Canceled: According to Wildwood Crest's official Facebook Page, "The Health & Wellness Lecture on colorectal cancer prevention and treatment that was scheduled to be held at the Crest Pier Recreation Center [on Wednesday, November 16] has been canceled due to a sudden change in the presenting doctor's schedule. The Wildwood Crest Recreation Department will make every effort to reschedule this lecture."

WILDWOOD CREST - The Borough of Wildwood Crest Recreation Department will host a wellness lecture on colorectal cancer prevention on Wednesday, November 16 at 6 pm, at the Crest Pier Recreation Center at 5800 Ocean Avenue.

This wellness lecture is supported by the Wildwood Crest Mayor's Wellness Campaign.

The lecture will be hosted by Dr. Valerie P. Bauer, an expert in surgical and non-surgical treatment of diseases of the colon, rectum and anus who is double board-certified by the American Board of Surgeons and the American Board of Colon Rectal Surgeons.

The lecture is free. No pre-registration is necessary. Light refreshments will be served.
