Monday Memories: September 1972
Special thanks to Carmen Masciantonio for sharing these two photos of himself and his sister, from a family vacation during the week of September 11-18, 1972...
Remember those swings on the beach in North Wildwood? Can anyone identify the exact block in the background?
And who can forget the kiddie boats at Hunt's Pier, with the little bells in the front and back seats? For so many children, rides like this (perhaps this very one) were initial amusement park experiences.
Check out the cool Hunt's "H" emblem flags on each boat. Have to love that old fashioned attention to detail.
Thanks again to Carmen for the great pics!
