This weekend, we’ll be celebrating St. Patrick’s Day in the Wildwoods (a few days ahead of the actual holiday) and setting our clocks ahead one hour; within the next two weeks, Old Man Winter bows out as spring officially arrives!

A recent stretch of warmer weather, combined with news of the arrival of several new businesses and the annual return of seasonal favorites, has heightened the anticipation of the summer season ahead.

Of course, nothing says “It’s coming!” like the release of our communities’ free outdoor entertainment schedules. North Wildwood is first on the draw this year, with today’s announcement of the 2022 Concerts Under the Stars lineup.

The popular series will return to the Lou Booth Amphitheater (2nd & Ocean) on most Thursday and Saturday evenings, from early July through the end of August, with three additional Saturday concerts in September.

The 18-show schedule kicks off on Saturday, July 2 and concludes on Sunday, September 18 - with both dates featuring performances by The Fabulous Greaseband. The Labor Day Weekend show on Saturday, September 3 will feature the traditional performance by Beatlemania.

The schedule is loaded with yearly favorites and many of the area's most requested summer acts, including Real Diamond (Saturday, July 23), 52nd Street (Thursday, August 4), Jimmy & The Parrots (August 18) and the Cameos (August 27).

All shows are FREE and begin at 8 pm, except for the Saturday night shows on September 10 (The Marinos) and September 17 (The Fabulous Greaseband), which will have a 7:30 pm start time.
