"Same great fundraiser with a different look for 2021"
This year, for the first time, the Wildwoods Restaurant Showcase will be held outdoors.
The 22nd annual version of the event will take place on Wednesday, May 12 at Byrne Plaza in Downtown Wildwood, from 5 - 8:30 pm.
For $25 per person, guests can take a culinary tour of the Wildwoods, sampling dishes and other specialties from a host of local eateries.
Participating businesses include:
Two Mile Landing Restaurants & Marina, Beach Creek Oyster Bar & Grille, Blue Water Grille, Boathouse Restaurant, Dogtooth Bar & Grill, Doo Wop Drive-In, Douglass Candies, Johnson's Popcorn, Joey M's La Piazza Cucina, Laura's Fudge, Mack's Pizza, MudHen Brewing Company, Poppi's Brick Oven Pizza, The Wild Burrito, The Boneless Bird, Urie's Waterfront Restaurant, Wawa, The Fractured Prune and Warrior Cafe.
A beer and wine tent run by MudHen Brewing Company will offer drinks at additional cost. Auction baskets will be sold at the event, which will will also feature live music, lawn games and other activities.
Social distancing protocols will be in place with restaurant booths spaced appropriately.
Hosted annually by the Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce, the Wildwoods Restaurant Showcase raises funds for scholarships for local students.
