On the Pine Avenue beach, Wildwood, but visible from almost anywhere on the Wildwoods Boardwalk! This special holiday fireworks extravaganza is sponsored by the Greater Wildwoods Tourism Improvement and Development Authority (GWTIDA). 10 p.m. Free. Independence Day Family Parade
Check in from 8:15 a.m. at 9th & Atlantic Avenues, North Wildwood. Parade begins at 9 a.m. at 9th and Atlantic Avenues in North Wildwood and proceeds north to 1st & Surf Avenues. No rain date . Patriotic Pooch Parade
The Patriotic Pooch Parade will join in the march of the Independence Day Parade through the island at Bill Henfey Park, 8th and Atlantic Avenues in North Wildwood. Check-in for parade participants will be from 8:15 a.m., parade at 9 a.m. Dogs of all shapes and sizes will parade along the streets of the Wildwoods dressed in patriotic garb alongside decorated bicycles. Doo Wop Back to the '50s Neon Night ToursTour leaves from the front of the Doo Wop Experience Museum, 4500 Ocean Avenue, Wildwood. 8 p.m. Riders can re-live the exciting 1950's and 1960's in the Wildwoods-By-The-Sea. See the best of the Wildwoods' Doo Wop style landmarks while a knowledgeable guide in Fifties attire recounts the popular culture of the era. Admission fee $13 adults, $7 children 12 and under.
