PigDog Beach Bar Grand Opening today

Morey's Piers' PigDog Beach Bar will host its Grand Opening today, with a continuous celebration from 11 AM to 10 PM.

The new barefoot beach bar - which is 100 percent dog friendly! - is located behind Raging Waters Water Park at Mariner's Landing, at Schellenger Avenue Beach.

In addition to live entertainment and giveaways all day, festivities will include:

12 PM - 2 PM:  Live remote with 98.7 The Coast

3 PM - 6 PM:  The Big House Band

6:30 PM - 9:30 PM:  Late Last Night Band

Both family and dog-friendly, this new breed of beach bar is serving up tasty barbecue classics, cocktails and a mix of domestic options and warm weather imports. Special dishes include the PigDog Dog, a foot long all-beef hot dog topped with smoked pulled pork and jalapenos on a potato roll. The Pig Big, another must-try, is a sourdough loaf stuffed with smoked pulled pork, covered in Monterey Jack cheese, and topped with pickled jalapenos and scallions. PigDog Beach Bar invites pooches and guests of all ages to kick-back and enjoy the laidback atmosphere accessible via Raging Waters Water Park, the beach, and the boardwalk. Open daily from 10 PM – 6 PM; Live Entertainment daily from 2 PM - 6 PM.
