This Friday, June 1, the City of North Wildwood will host its 4th Annual Anglesea Day, commemorating the 133rd anniversary of the founding of the Borough of Anglesea.
Anglesea was reincorporated as the Borough of North Wildwood in 1906.
Schedule of events and dedications include:
10 am - Unveiling of New Historical Marker
1874: Original location of Hereford Inlet Lighthouse (on seawall behind lighthouse)
10:15 am - Presentation at Hereford Inlet Lighthouse
"The Ever-Changing Hereford Inlet"
3 pm - Unveiling of New Historical Marker
1904: West Jersey & Seashore Railroad / 17th Avenue Station (17th & New Jersey)
* Anglesea Day displays at Hereford Inlet Lighthouse will be available for public view for the remainder of 2018.
